The Challenge

WorkSafeBC wanted to impress trade show visitors with a bold, interactive experience. The goal: reimagine what workplace training could look like—especially in high-risk environments like kitchens.

They needed something that was eye-catching, memorable, and built to spark curiosity about better training design.

Our solution

We built an interactive video demo where users made decisions in a simulated kitchen environment. Every choice shaped the story: ignore a spill, and the risk increased. Take action, and the outcomes improved.

The story branched in real time, showing how small safety decisions lead to big consequences—good or bad.

Results

Stakeholders saw how interactive stories could replace passive lectures.

Visitors walked away talking about safety training in a new light.

The project laid the foundation for a scalable, video-based training approach.
